Founded in 1990, the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Leadership Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting women’s leadership globally. The IWF Leadership Foundation is incorporated under District of Columbia law and is established as a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational arm of the IWF. Leadership Foundation Mission
The Leadership Foundation is the educational and charitable arm of the International Women’s Forum, a global association of more than 4,500 women leaders from over 24 countries. The Foundation channels the talents of IWF members and the resources of the IWF network into programs that benefit women worldwide. The Leadership Foundation conducts groundbreaking leadership initiatives to promote women’s progress and to increase understanding of their important contributions around the globe.

Claudia HerreraMoro, 2008/09 Fellows Class, was selected as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women of 2010 by CNN-Expansión Magazine in México. Claudia was ranked 46 th for her leadership of governmental and public relations at Proctor & Gamble, and in particular for being the only woman taking part in México‘s crisis response to the H1N1 epidemic.

Lillian Tibatemwa, 2005/2006 Fellows Class, and Bridget Omafuvbe, 2009/2010 Fellows Class, are featured in the Carnegie Reporter for their achievements as academic leaders in Africa. Since 2002, the Carnegie Corporation of New York has partnered with the Leadership Foundation to underwrite the participation of women leaders from African universities in the Fellows Program.
